DIGESTIVE SYSTEM
Helps our body to get the nutrients we need from food.
Mouth: teeth and saliva mixes and break down the food into small pieces.
Esophagus: long tube where food goes down to the stomach.
Stomach: is like a bag. Food mixes with gastric juices and turn into a thick liquid.
Small intestine: long thin tube with lots of blood vessels around it that get the nutrients.
Large intestine: wide tube connected to the anus.
EXCRETORY SYSTEM
Helps our body to get rid of excess water and waste products.
Kidneys: turn excess water and waste products into urine.
Ureters: tubes where urine goes down to the bladder.
Bladder: collects the urine.
Urethra: tube where through urine leaves our body.
